Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, our guide will welcome you then transfer to the hotel. Bali is a beautiful island known for having a unique colourful spiritual culture. There are its many rituals and practices which originated thousands years ago, and till today they have survived. Even though it is relatively small, approximately 5,000 km2 in all, Bali boasts a whole range of different environments. This compact landscape centres on a line of active volcanoes with alluvial slopes with spill down to coastal plains. Tropical rainforest fringe the mountains, eventually giving way to carefully cultivated rice fields and crop growth. Further down on the plains, water logged mangrove swamps lead to ocean, a number of different rivers and streams, in turn, wind their way through a cross section of these environments and down to coast, carving deep chasms as they go.

This tour will bring you the eastern part of Bali. Firstly visit Pura Goa Lawah, the Bat Cave Temple. The cave in the cliff face is full of bats. The cave is said to lead all the way to Besakih, the biggest temple complex in Bali. Afterwards visit Tenganan, one of the native villages in Bali, known as Bali Aga, the original Balinese. Tenganan is very famous for its traditional culture and custom. The ritual activities have their own calendar and are different from other parts in Bali. Tenganan village offers a nice panorama, the hill providing a beautiful backdrop. The village is also known as the only place where people weave the "ikat gringsing" a special cloth using traditional colours. Continue your trip to Taman Ujung. It was a resting place for the King of Karangasem, known as "The Water Palace" built around 1919 by the late King Karangasem. The view can be admired from the pavilion higher up the hill; the green mountain views contrast with the blue sea. After that continue your tour and visit the Puri Agung Palace. The Royal Palace of Karangasem Kingdom is an artistic building combining the styles of Balinese, Chinese and European architectures. It was built by Anak Agung Gede Jelantik, the first king of Karangasem. Inside this Palace, one will find some old photographs of the royal family, the royal bedroom, the costumes which was formerly used by the king, and other buildings used for various ceremonies and meetings. Afterwards you will drive to Candidasa, a small resort at the east.

Afterwards continue to spectacular area of Batur. Mount Batur itself is a small volcano, but its setting is in the heart of huge crater.  Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Lake Batur, all surrounded by high walls of the crater rim. On the way visit Pura Ulun Danu Batur.
