Day 02: BALI – SUMBA
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Sumba. Upon arrival at Mau Hau Airport, East Sumba, our guide will welcome you then direct start your tour program. Sumba island is one of the most culturally fascinating places to visit in East Indonesia. The cultural life of Sumba is famous for spectacular rituals, remarkable peaked houses, huge megalithic graves and ikat clothes. Sumba island is a relatively small island (11,153 km²) with interior made up of grassy highlands, punctured by deep valleys and low hills. Sumba is in East Nusa Tenggara province, its approximately 600 000 inhabitants are divided into four administrative districts. Waingapu is the eastern capital and the largest town on Sumba island. You will visit Prailiang village. There are many types of tomb structures found both in East and West Sumba. The Sumbanese adopted the sarcophagus and the dolmen mode of burial. The stone grave consists of a horizontal single-chamber tomb structure and a menhir close to it, or placed on top of the grave. They are erected as monuments to the deceased. For upper class richly sculpted stone tombs are signs of their hierarchical status as leader, through symbolic images carved on the upright stone menhir. They are also regarded as symbolising the image of the ancestor. You will discover also traditional textiles, famous for their complexity, combining ikat and supplemental ornaments like shells and beads, with beautiful human and animal motifs.

Day 03: SUMBA
You will visit Pasunga and Galubakul villages to admire tomb stones. Afterwards you will continue your trip to Waikabubak, West Sumba. You will visit Tarung and Waitabar villages where you can see some of West Sumba’s best megalithic graves and the house of the village leader decorated with buffalo horns. From all of islands in the archipelago, the western part of Sumba is possibly the most fascinating with regard to its ancestral culture which is closely related to the megalithic tradition. In spite of the spread of Christianity, the belief in the merpau is still strongly felt in the westen part of the island. Erecting stone tombs accompanied by sacrifices continue to be carried out until recently.

Day 04: SUMBA
You will drive to Kodi area where you will visit Ranggabaki, Parona Mbaroro and Bondo Kawangu villages where you can see traditional houses and stone tombs. In this area you can see traditional houses with the highest roofs in all of Sumba. Sumbanese house is not just a residence, but also a particular kind of social unit. Uma means both the traditional house and the patrilineal group that claims descent from it. All customary Sumbanese houses are built on piles and, apart from the shapes of their roofs, are similar in plan. Houses without towers are symbolic extensions of the single ancestral peaked house, the uma merpau. This house is the meeting place and main ritual site for all of the descendants of the uma. You will stop also at Tossi beach.

Day 05: SUMBA – FLORES
You will have free time until transfer to the Tambolaka airport for the flight to Flores. If time permits you can stop at Waikelo Sawah waterfall. Upon arrival in Ende, (Flores Island), our guide will welcome you and transfer to Moni. Flores is a long (360 km), narrow (12 to 70 km wide) island with impressive landscape, including high mountains, spectacular volcanoes, stunning mountain lakes and spider web rice fields. There are approximately 1.8 million people living on Flores, of which 85% are Roman Catholic.

Day 06: FLORES
The natural attraction of Kelimutu National Park is Kelimutu volcano containing three crater lakes. The lakes, at an altitude of 1,640 metres are separated only by low ridges and, unusually, are of different colours. The colours of the three lakes are constantly changing, because of the varying mineral content of their waters (turquoise, black and dark brown recently). The best time for viewing this spectacular sight is early morning. After morning Kelimutu tour you will back to the hotel for breakfast and short relax and then continue your trip to Bajawa, the capital of Ngada district. On the way stop at Ende, the largest town on Flores set amidst several volcanoes, Pengga Jawa Beach to see local people collecting blue volcanic stones and Wogo traditional village where you can see sets of ngadhu (ancestral male-identified sacrificial post) and bhaga (female-identified shrines).

Day 07: FLORES
You will visit Bena village, known for its traditional houses with sharply pitched, towering thatch roofs and groups of megalithic stones. Afterwards continue to Ruteng that lies at the base of a tall mountain range, and at the head of an intricate network of valleys. On the way stop at Aimere to see making palm wine process, view the beauty of Ranamese Lake and visit Ruteng Pu’u traditional village.

Day 08: FLORES
Depart to Labuan Bajo – a tiny fishing town located at the west part of Flores Island. On the way you will stop at Cancar village to admire intricate rice fields arranged like slices of a pie around a central point or spider nets. You will also explore Cunca Wulang Canyon with cascades and a series of smaller waterfalls; on the trek you will pass village, rice fields, and farms producing coffee, candle nut and cacao.

Day 09: FLORES – RINCA ISLAND
In the morning you will visit Batu Cermin – limestone cave and extraordinary rock formation. Afterwards transfer to the harbour. You will get aboard and sail to Komodo National Park. Komodo National Park was established in 1980 to conserve firstly Varanus komodoensis and its habitat; over the years expanded to protect Park’s entire biodiversity, both terrestrial and marine. To show biological significance the Park was declared a World Heritage Site and a Man and Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1991. Komodo National Park includes three major islands: Komodo, Rinca and Padar, as well as numerous smaller islands creating a total area of 1,817km2 (marine and land). These volcanic islands are inhabited by a population of around 5,700 giant lizards, whose appearance and aggressive behaviour have led to them being called Komodo Dragon. Upon arrival at Loh Buaya, the entry point on Rinca Island you will start trekking to see Komodo dragons at their natural habitat. During the trekking tour you may spot also long-tailed macaques and wild water buffaloes. In Komodo National Park area you can see spectacular beaches and crystal clear blue waters. If time permits you will stop for swimming and snorkelling.

Day 10: RINCA ISLAND – KOMODO ISLAND
Early morning sail toward Komodo Island – the largest island in Komodo National Park. Upon arrival at Loh Liang you will start the trekking tour and will have another chance to see the world's largest living lizards. You may spot also wild animals such as wild buffalos, wild pigs or birds like yellow-crested cockatoo. After trekking you will visit friendly Komodo village and observe daily community life. After discovering the land and its life you will sail to the Pink Beach for swimming and snorkelling. Islands in Komodo National Park are mostly dry and harsh, but below the surface of the water the view is the exact opposite. Marine life of all shapes and sizes enjoys the rich waters surrounding the islands. The Park is one of the richest marine environments in Indonesia and therefore one of the best snorkelling sites.

Day 11: KOMODO ISLAND – SUMBAWA
In the morning you will sail to Sape. Upon arrival at Sape harbour you will continue the trip and drive to Bima town. Sumbawa is located in the middle of the Lesser Sunda Islands chain; its terrain is rough and mountainous. Sumbawa is 15,448 km2, stretches 280 kilometres east-west, but its width varies from 15 to 90 kilometres. Sumbawa is part of the volcanic chain of Nusa Tenggara and while activity took place over the eras, no single explosion seems to have been as dramatic as the Mt. Tambora eruption on 10 April 1815. Tambora volcano produced the largest eruption in recorded history, causing global climatic effects, turned 1816 into the "year without a summer" for much of Europe. Sumbawa is like two cultural islands: Sumbawa Besar in the west and Bima in the east. The whole island is called Sumbawa, but on the island this term is only used for the west. The two parts of the island are divided by both geography and language – that spoken by the Sumbawanese being more like Sasak (the language spoken on Lombok), while that spoken by the Bimans being more like the languages of Flores and Sumba. On the way to Bima town you will stop at Sape market where you can see local women dressing rimpu – a traditional head-and-shoulder scarf – busy with their activities. You will stop at Maria village where you can see, still used, traditional rice barns called lengge.

Day 12: SUMBAWA
In the morning you will explore Bima, a lively and colourful Muslim town on the edge of a long bay with mountains in the distance. You will visit the Sultan of Bima palace, built in 1927 and restored in 1973, is now a museum containing items such as the royal crown and sultan’s collection of kris knives. You will also Raba where local women are producing traditional clothes using simple looms. Afterwards you will drive to Sumabawa Besar town, the district capital of the western part of the island.

Day 13: SUMBAWA– LOMBOK
In the morning you will visit Dalam Loka (The Old Palace), the wooden palace of Sumbawa Besar, build around 1885 during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Jalaluddin Syah III. It is standing on 99 strong pillars, the number symbolising God's characteristics in Muslim belief. Now it is used as Sumbawa Museum housing historical objects. You will stop also at Bala Kuning (The Yellow House), the palace of the last Sumbawa Sultan, where you can see royal magical objects. On the way you will visit Bungin island, which is one of the most most densely populated places in Indonesia (approx 14.000 persons/km2). There is no area left on the island to build, so when a man wants to construct a house, he must first expand the island, loading coral rubble in a shallow area to serve as a support for his new house. Afterwards you will drive to Poto Tano harbour, where you start your ferry trip to Lombok. Upon arrival at Kayangan harbour you will continue your trip and drive to Senggigi area.

Day 14: LOMBOK
During this tour you will see stunning panoramas and learn about traditions and culture of Lombok. You will stop at Malimbu to view spectacular panorama of Lombok Strait, Tanjung local market and Segenter village to see Sasak compounds. Afterwards continue drive to Senaru village for a short hiking to Sindang Gile Waterfall – one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Lombok. Next continue to Pusuk, Sembalun and Sampit villages to witness spectacular scenery of rice terraces, mountains and forest.

Day 15: LOMBOK
Gili Nanggu is a small island (12.5 hectares) off South-West coast of Lombok. The island is known for its natural beauty, crystal clear waters and numerous swimming spots, stunning underwater world with brightly coloured fish. You can spend one day in paradise, snorkelling and relaxing on white sandy beach.

Day 16: LOMBOK – BALI
You will have free time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Bali. Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, our guide will welcome you then transfer to your hotel.
